Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026. Tellmee (tellmee.fun) is a free service. This page explains what we collect and why, in plain words.

What we collect

• Your page: the name or nickname you choose, your role (for example Student or Doctor), and the answers, messages and sealed wishes people send you.
• Anonymous usage counts: which page type was opened, a country code (from our network provider), the link source (for example a campaign tag) and daily totals. We do not store your IP address with your page or messages.
• A random visitor ID kept in your browser (local storage or a cookie we set) so we can count one answer per device and recognise a returning visitor. It is not linked to your name.
• Short-lived abuse limits: a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address is kept for up to a few hours to stop spam, then deleted.
• Email (optional): only if you add it to receive reply notifications and to recover your private link. We verify it with a code or Google sign-in. If you tick the news box we may send you occasional news and surprises. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.

Anonymous messages

Messages are shown only to the page owner. The sender is not identified to the owner. Administrators do not read private messages unless a message is reported.

Sealed 2027 wishes

Wishes stay locked, even from the page owner, until 1 January 2027 (00:00 in the owner's time zone).

Cookies, local storage and ads

We use local storage and a small number of cookies for language choice, your visitor ID, your private link on your own device, and signing in. When advertising is switched on, advertising partners such as Google AdSense may use cookies to show ads; where required we will ask for your consent first.

Who can use Tellmee

You must be at least 13 years old.

Keeping and deleting data

You can delete your page from its settings at any time; its answers, messages and wishes are then removed. To delete your email or ask any question, write to noreply@tellmee.fun.

Third parties

Google Fonts (fonts), Cloudflare (security and speed), Google sign-in (only if you choose it) and advertising partners (only when ads are on).
